2) WHAT IF I BUY A DISK WITH MY WEDDING PHOTOS ON IT? WILL I GET IN TROUBLE IF I TRY TO PRINT THEM OUT AT A CAMERA STORE?
No. If you purchased a DVD from Spinning Pixel Imaging you may print, re-print, copy, or duplicate individual photographs in perpetuity. Such use by Client(s) is permissible only to the extent that such print(s), re-print(s), copy(s), or duplicate(s) are solely for the personal use of Client(s) and/or for distribution of photographs by Client(s) to family and friends. Spinning Pixel Imaging (Jeff Brown) retains the ownership and copyright over all images and reserves the right to use negatives, digital captures and/or reproductions for advertising, display, publication or other purposes. A photographer’s release stating these terms will accompany final delivery of the photographs.
3) WHAT ARE POST-PRODUCTION SERVICES?
Many people think the photographer's work is done when he shoots the picture. In reality, the computer has become as much a part of modern photography as the camera and that means many hours spent poring over photos after the shoot, followed by more detailed work in a photo editing program. As a consequence of the large number of images a digital camera's storage card holds, we can all shoot much more than we could ever dream of in the film days. This allows for plenty of coverage and redundancy. A small wedding can amount to 600 or more photos and each photo must be reviewed for color, sharpness and dynamic range, edited as needed and then cropped. Not to mention everything must be backed up at each stage of editing on the computer because we all know that PCs have a way of dying at the worst possible moment. The internet has also become invaluable to photographers not only as a marketing tool, but as a new way for clients to proof images. This too entails more computer processing and website updating. At the end of it all, we then have to mount your images in albums or make DVDs and deliver them to you. These are services Spinning Pixel loves to do since bringing you great images is what it is all about!
4) WHY DON'T YOU HAVE YOUR PRICE LIST POSTED?
We do not post our price list on our website for a variety of reasons, chiefly because we customize each session to the client's needs. To cover the variety of work we do, a price list would be unnecessarily long and a bit confusing to someone who had never shopped for a photographer before. Additionally, Spinning Pixel Imaging has frequent discounts on the items in our standard price list that are best conveyed through a more detailed conversation or email regarding your needs. We encourage all of our website viewers to give us a call at 832.620.6064 or email a quote request to us by using this handy form.
